2021 Global Speech

2021 Global Speech Competition

Introduction to the global speech competition

The Global Speech Contest is based on the opinions of global supporters who want to hold CHA Student TED Talks in 2021, where students at CHA University of Science and Technology express and share their thoughts in foreign languages and discuss ways to contribute to the community by utilizing their majors. It was first held as a competition for the Vice President of Academic Affairs with a presentation topic. The students who participated in the planning and hosting of the global speech contest are Jooeun Kim of the Department of Nursing, Taehee Kim of the Department of Pharmacy, Gayeon Son of the Department of Counseling Psychology, Jeongjae Yoo of the Department of Biomedical Science, and Gyuhee Cho of the Department of Biotechnology (in alphabetical order).
In 2022, the Global Speech Competition, which developed into the President’s Cup Competition, is prepared with the goal of holding it every year in the third week of November during International Education Week from 2023. As this competition continues in the future, we expect that it will become a venue for current students to express, share, and accumulate innovative ideas based on their major knowledge in various languages.
